On the night of Thursday, July 10, Russian occupation forces attacked Kiev with drones, ballistics and cruise missiles. Explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital, the consequences of shelling in at least six districts are known, two people were killed and 14 - injured, writes "Observer".
Civilian infrastructure was damaged, fires broke out in residential buildings. This was informed by the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko and the head of the Kiev city military administration Timur Tkachenko.
Significant damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in Shevchenkivskyi district. Residential buildings were damaged - roofs, upper floors, facades, interior rooms were damaged. Also, numerous hits of UAV debris in non-residential premises were recorded.
There is information about three victims: a woman 86 years old - acute reaction to stress; a man 45 years old - polytrauma; a man 59 years old - cut wound of the foot, closed chest injury.
In Darnytskyi district as a result of falling UAV debris there was a fire in garages and a gas station. Also debris fell in the yard of one of the residential buildings.
In Solomensky district there are hits in non-residential buildings, fires broke out. Two casualties are known.
In Goloseevsky district, a truck caught fire as a result of the fall of UAV debris.
In Podolsky district, there was also recorded a fall of debris, windows in an apartment building were blown out.
In Obolonsky district, tentatively, there is a fall of drone debris.
The KGBA reported that as a result of the RF attack there are three male victims with shrapnel wounds. The number of injured soon rose to 14 people. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, nine of the injured were hospitalized, others were treated on the spot or outpatient.
"Unfortunately, we have two dead. These people were killed by Russians. It is a terrible loss. My condolences to the family and friends," Timur Tkachenko said.
In the city, residential houses, gas stations, autos, warehouses, office and non-residential structures have burst into flames.
"After returning home from shelters, close the windows. There is a lot of smoke. Now in touch with the heads of districts, the situation is under control. There is a lot of work ahead, I will report during the day on the progress of the elimination work. Take care!" - the capital's authorities said.
Russia has also attacked Kiev region with missiles and drones en masse. The consequences were recorded in four districts: houses, garage and outbuildings were burning, a man was injured.
