Ukrainian Drones Attacked Russia En Masse

Explosions occurred in the Moscow region.

On the night of Friday, July 11, Russian regions were subjected to massive drone attacks. In the Moscow region, explosions were heard in the towns of Lukhovitsy and Dubna.

Russian Telegram channel Astra reports this.

It is noted that the Kronstadt enterprise engaged in the development of drones was attacked again in Dubna near Moscow. This is not the first strike on the plant - in May 2025, the attack was announced by the General Staff of the AFU.

In addition, in the city of Lukhovitsy, Moscow region, also reported explosions. Local chat rooms wrote en masse about an attack on a "factory," although the specific enterprise was not specified. The area is home to the Lukhovitsy Voronin Aviation Plant, where Russian MiG fighter jets are manufactured, as well as a local oil depot.

A user of one of the car communities made the map public and wrote that he heard explosions in the area:

"I was driving here, and over us directly v**balled," he said.

As Astra notes, it is likely that we are talking about the southeastern part of Lukhovitsy - the area of the village of Larino along highway 46N-05249.

The Russian Defense Ministry also said that 11 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down in the skies above the Moscow region at night.

It is noted that it is still difficult to establish exactly what was the target of the strike - a factory, an oil depot or other infrastructure.

In December 2024, Russian media, citing the FSB, reported that a former top manager of Lukhovitsky aircraft plant Mikhail Baranov received nine years in prison for allegedly stealing components for MiG-29 fighters and attempting to export them to Ukraine.
