In Chernivtsi during an enemy attack on the night of July 12, two people died from falling debris. This was reported by the head of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Ruslan Zaparanyuk.
"At dawn, the Russians attacked our region with 4 UAVs of "Shahed" type and 1 missile. To our great regret, two people - a 26-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man - were killed by falling debris of enemy objects in Chernivtsi. My deepest condolences to their families and friends...," the official said.
According to him, four more people were seriously injured and doctors are fighting for their lives.
"One woman is in a very serious condition. 10 people were slightly injured. They were treated on the spot," Zaparanyuk emphasized.
In addition, according to the head of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, several residential houses, stores, administrative buildings and cars were damaged due to the Russian Federation attack.
"There are consequences on the territory of Storozhynets community as well. As a result of a hit by an enemy UAV, a residential house and a car were damaged. There did without casualties and injuries," he added.
