Vitebsk hosts the international arts festival "Slavianski Bazaar". Local officials claim its "commercial success". Journalists "Zerkala" looked at how much money is spent on the organization of the festival from the budget and what fees are paid to the artists.
How much was spent on the organization of venues
151 thousand rubles will go to the company "Blackout Studio" for providing lighting equipment for the Summer Amphitheatre. It will also provide a similar service for the concert hall "Vitebsk" for almost 62 thousand rubles. Almost Br252 thousand will pay this company for the provision and maintenance of LED screens, suspension systems and mechanics of the stage. For the first two items of expenditure, all the money will be budgetary, while the third - partially from "own funds.
We recall that the company "Blackout Studio" previously appeared in a criminal case for bribery, which was brought against the former director of "Minskconcert. By the way, this firm is a frequent participant and winner of purchases for public events.
"Soundcafe Production" will receive almost 97 thousand for providing additional sound equipment for concert venues.
Special effects were engaged in "PyroGroup Technology," which will receive almost 59 thousand. In this and the previous case, part of the funds will be taken from the state treasury, while part will be "own", probably, some sponsors. By the way, this company often wins tenders when it comes to fireworks for state events.
"Belimlait" will provide LED screens, suspension system and mechanics of the stage in the Summer Amphitheatre and will receive almost 220 thousand for this. They will take them from the budget. She will also be paid for additional lighting systems 141.7 thousand on the same site. And another 58.1 thousand - for a similar service in the concert hall "Vitsebsk. "Belimlight" is one of the companies that regularly act as suppliers of organizational services for large state concerts.
The listed expenses for the organization of venues cost more than 1 million 40 thousand rubles.
A performance at the festival by Ruslan Alekhno will cost the budget 10 thousand rubles.
Almost 39 thousand will be paid to Russian businessman Oleg Kudryavtsev for organizing performances by unnamed "pop stars." Probably, it was he who previously brought the group "Diskomafia" to Belarus.
The participation of Lukashenko's orchestra within the "days of the Union State" at the festival will cost Br30.4 thousand. There is a separate item of expenses for services to organize the performance of the band. Br86 thousand will be spent on this. In both cases, the funds will go to the Palace of the Republic, which is part of Lukashenko's administration. In the first case, the entire amount will be taken from the budget, while in the second - partially spend their own funds.
It turns out that only these performances cost Br165.4 thousand.
But this is not all the expenses. Dozens of artists and performers come to the festival, payment goes on many organizational items. Plus even the most modest calculations on government procurement indicate that hundreds of thousands of rubles are spent on transport for performers and organized spectators, their accommodation and meals.
