Ukraine Will Change Its Prime Minister

Zelensky officially offered the post of head of government to the new candidate.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has offered Yulia Sviridenko to head the Ukrainian government and significantly renew its work.

The Ukrainian president said this on Monday, July 14, following a meeting with the first deputy prime minister.

"I have offered Yulia Sviridenko to head the Ukrainian government and significantly renew its work. I expect to present the program of actions of the new government in the near future," the Ukrainian leader said.

The post of prime minister is currently held by Denis Shmygal. Both personnel changes and strategic priorities of the future government are expected to be presented soon.
