In Russia, A Device Exploded In A Patient's Mouth At A Dentist's Appointment

The moment was caught on video.

In Russia, a mouth cleaning device exploded in a dental clinic while serving a patient. This was reported by REN TV channel on July 13.

"A mouth cleaning device exploded in a dental clinic. [...] According to the dentist, his assistant did not keep an eye on the instrument, which became clogged with powder. The consequences of such an explosion are fright and paste-stained clothes," the report says.

The channel claims that "the patient remained unperturbed and unharmed."

"The patient himself did not complain about the incident, as he is a friend of the doctor. The dentist also noted that the situation happened a long time ago. [...] As you can see, the patient did not even flinch," REN TV said.

According to the Krasnodar TV channel (Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation), the incident occurred with an AirFlow machine.

The dentist and his patient turned out to be natives of Dagestan (Russian Federation), but where exactly the clinic where the explosion occurred is located is not specified.

No one has applied to law enforcement agencies, Krasnodar notes.
