Russia's Main Arms Exhibition Canceled For The First Time In 10 Years

The show was scheduled to run from August 11-14, 2025.

The Russian Defense Ministry has decided to cancel the XI military-technical forum "Army," which showcases Russian weapons, a source told Izvestia.

The reasons he did not specify. The exhibition was to be held from August 11 to 14, 2025, in Patriot Park. The forum's website is still up and running. There is no information about the cancellation neither in the Telegram channel, nor in the group of the event in "VKontakte", but its announcement was removed from the poster on the website of the concert and exhibition center "Patriot", which can be verified by studying the archived version of the page.

Forum "Army" - the main exhibition of the Ministry of Defense, which has been held annually since 2015 and is positioned as a "platform for the demonstration of advanced ideas and developments" of the Russian military-industrial complex. So far, the event has never been canceled once, even during the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier the forum lasted seven days, but in 2024 its program was reduced to three. This year, more than 800 participants, including foreign ones, have booked the exhibition space, the organizers claimed.
