EU Starts Working On 19th Package Of Sanctions Against Russia

The Estonian foreign minister revealed the details.

The European Union (EU) does not plan to be satisfied with "half measures" against Russia. Work on the 19th package of sanctions has already begun.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Margus Tsahkna, quoted by the agency.

Tsahkna said the 18th package of restrictions demonstrates that Europe remains tireless and determined.

"The European Union is consciously and consistently raising the cost of aggression for Russia. Every euro Russia earns from oil sales helps finance its bloodshed in Ukraine. Our goal is to cut off these financial sources," he added.

The minister noted that Russia must realize that there is no place on the international arena for a country that violates international law and attacks sovereign states, in this regard, the EU will not stop until the terrorist country is held accountable for the unleashed war.

He added that work on a new package of sanctions has already begun.

"We will not settle for half measures. Each new package reinforces our message: Ukraine is not alone and Russia will not go unpunished," the minister said.
