Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed today with the newly appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov the work of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Stavka, and outlined personal tasks in the defense and negotiation spheres.
According to the Ukrainian leader in Telegram, Umerov faces three priority tasks, particularly on arms supplies and activating the negotiation track with Russia.
"The first is to continue working with partners on arms agreements," Zelensky said.
In particular, according to the Ukrainian president, it is necessary to fully implement each agreement with international partners on arms supplies, as well as new special agreements on the establishment of joint production facilities and construction of plants on the territory of partners.
"The second thing is to analyze the state of implementation of the adopted decisions of the National Security and Defense Council and the Stavka, to implement what was delayed, as well as to significantly strengthen the format of the technological Stavka," Zelensky said.
"In this regard, clear coordination and full implementation of decisions are needed We need more dynamics in this process," he added.
