Documentary filmmakers from the Czech Republic have made a movie about three citizens of their country who were skeptical of Russia's war against Ukraine and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. They were brought to eastern Ukraine to see everything with their own eyes, writes New Voice.
The film, titled The Big "Patriotic" Trip, is scheduled to premiere on August 21. According to the publication, the Czechs traveled to Ukraine with the conviction that no war exists.
The journalists noted that two men and one woman took part in the project, disparagingly calling the war a "special operation" and openly supporting the Russian position. They spread theses about a media conspiracy, doubted the number of victims and blamed Zelensky for everything.
While traveling, the Czechs came under rocket fire, interacted with the wounded, visited the sites of mass graves and entered a subway school in the subway where children study. Their reactions to what they saw were filmed.
A security analyst, a psychiatrist and a translator also took part in the project.
