Satellite images have surfaced.
The Kirovske airfield in southeastern Crimea has been attacked several times by the Defense Forces, but the strike on the night of June 28 was the most successful for Ukrainian forces.
Satellite images from July 1, available NV, confirm a large-scale fire. Previously, a NASA space project that records fires from Earth orbit gave information about the fire on June 28, precisely after the attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Satellite photos confirm that the fires were specifically at helicopter parking points and two air defense system points. Minor damage to the airport infrastructure and some buildings in Kirovske is also visible.

On July 2, the Dnipro-OSINT project published other satellite images of better quality than those available from NV. These images show not only the fire, but also the remains of three destroyed helicopters. The authors of the project also confirm damage to at least one Pantsir-S1 air defense system.
