FSB Agent "leaked" Important Information By Selling Medals

The desire to enrich himself led to the disclosure of data about the Russian spy center.
On July 19, it became known that the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) had another failure, the culprit of which was one of its employees, who made a living by selling award badges. Photos of FSB medals on the Web did not go unnoticed by the company Checkfirst - creating software and engaged in the fight against fake information.
According to "Agency", more than 200 photos were analyzed, Finnish analysts managed to establish that the 16th FSB Center consists of at least 10 departments and two regional offices № 3 and № 7. It is claimed that the structure was revealed thanks to the letter designations on the medals: "A", "B", "C", "D", "K", "P", "S", "SP", "ST" and "T". "B" stands for security, "D" for decryption, and "K" may speak of the management's connection with computers, i.e. hacking activities.
The Finnish company emphasized that the 16th FSB Center of the Russian Federation consists of a minimum of 566 employees, while departments have at least 8 employees and directorates at least 55.
Checkfirst noted that the 16th FSB Center manages 10 Special Communication Centers: in Moscow, Moscow Region, near St. Petersburg, Adler, Khabarovsk, Pskov, in Temryuk, near Vladivostok and Kaliningrad.
The 16th FSB Center and its subdivisions specialize in cyber espionage for neighboring countries and beyond, as well as inside the Russian Federation.
In 2023, the said center of the Russian secret service was accused of stealing documents of governments and embassies of NATO countries with the help of a virus for 20 years.
