The AFU Planted The Ukrainian Flag On The Kinburn Spit

As a symbol of victory and regaining control of territory.

Ukraine's armed forces continue to regain control of every meter of their native land. Ukrainian fighters planted a blue-and-yellow flag on the Kinburn Spit, which is 4-7.5 kilometers from Ochakov (Mykolaiv region).

The video was published in Telegram channel of the Unmanned Systems Division of the 123rd Ordnance Division. There they noted that the Ukrainian flag is a symbol of inevitable victory.

"Pride! Daily - with every bird in the sky, with every hit in the target. With every conquered meter of land, sky and water. Pride is the coordinated actions of units and success in the most daring operations," the message reads.

The footage shows the Ukrainian flag flying on the roof of a two-story dilapidated building. The actions of the AFU prove that Ukraine does not stop fighting and is reclaiming its own territories.

"Pride is about the unmanned systems unit of the 123rd Thero-Defense Brigade, which recently planted the first Ukrainian flag on Kinburn Spit as a symbol of our inevitable victory over evil," the report said.

It should be noted that after the counter-offensive of the Defense Forces in the south in November 2022, Kinburn Spit remained the only occupied part of Mykolayiv region. In early June 2023, the territory temporarily became an island due to the occupants' undermining of the Kakhovskaya HPP and subsequent flooding of the Dnieper banks downstream. The Russian military concentrated a significant amount of equipment there, from which they shelled the city of Ochakov and the south of Ukraine in general.

In March 2025, our marines conducted another sweep of the Russians on the Kinburn Spit. The invaders rode there in trucks and armored infantry fighting vehicles, so the AFU destroyed them.
