Ukrainian Intelligence Found Out How Much "Oreshnik" Is Made By Russians

The Russian army currently has no such missiles in service.
Russia will begin serial production of the new Oreshnik missile system.
Now there are 6 companies involved in the production of the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile in Russia. Their list to the publication "Glavkom" was provided by the interim intelligence officer Oleg Cherny in response to an inquiry.
The letter lists the names of companies in Russia's defense-industrial complex that are involved in the production of the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile as of July 10, 2025:
JSC "Corporation "Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering" (Moscow);
JSC "Federal Research and Production Center "Titanbarrikady" (Volgograd);
JSC "Head Special Design Bureau "Prozhektor" (Moscow);
JSC Concern Sozvezdiye (Voronezh);
JSC Research and Production Enterprise Spetsenergomechanika (Moscow);
JSC Research and Development Center of Special Equipment and Conversion "Continent" (Moscow).
According to Ukrainian intelligence, in general, these enterprises are capable of producing up to 10 units of Oreshnik missiles per year. However, according to the letter, there are no such ballistic missiles currently in service with the Russian army.
A representative of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR also said that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has twice conducted tests to launch the Oreshnik ballistic missile, and this occurred in October 2023 and last June.


Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky previously shared data that a total of 39 companies were involved in the production of the Oreshnik in Russia. He noted that as of early June this year, 21 of them were not under sanctions.
Recently, Vladimir Putin said that Russia will start serial production of the new Oreshnik missile system.
The Russian Oreshnik missile system is planned to be deployed in Belarus by the end of this year.
