Musk Named The Main Task Of His Announced New Party In The U.S.

The party of "America" may be created after the passage of Trump's "beautiful" bill.

The main goal of the party "America", which may be created after the adoption of the "beautiful" bill of US President Donald Trump, will be to ensure the "will of the people" through getting into Congress and taking several seats there. This was stated by American entrepreneur Ilon Musk on his social media page X.

Musk launched a poll dedicated to US Independence Day, which is celebrated on July 4. He asked users whether they wanted "independence from the two-party (some would say one-party) system" and whether it was worth forming a new party "America" in the country.

As of 18:34 Moscow time, 303,800 users had cast their votes. Of those, 62% were in favor and 38% were against.

"One way to implement this decision," Musk called focusing on two to three Senate seats and eight to 10 districts from which members of the House of Representatives are elected.

"Given the small legislative window of opportunity, this would be enough to be the deciding vote on controversial laws, ensuring they serve the true will of the people," the businessman wrote.

Musk is the world's richest man (Forbes estimates his fortune at $405.2 billion) and a major campaign contributor to incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump. In early summer, the businessman quarreled with the head of state over the "Big Beautiful Bill" (BBB), which implements key campaign promises of the Republican.

The day before, July 3, the U.S. Congress adopted this document in the final version after lengthy discussions. The Senate approved the bill by a margin of just one vote (50 to 51) - it was given by US Vice President J.D. Vance. As Senate President, he has the right to vote in case of a tie.

Mask predicted "huge strategic harm" to the US because of the bill. He threatened to create a party of "America" the day after the document is passed.

The "Great and Beautiful Bill" has yet to be signed into law by Trump. Musk criticized the document for its "insane" implementation costs, saying he believes it will destroy millions of U.S. jobs and put the country "on a path to debt slavery." The bill "gives handouts to industries of the past, while doing serious damage to industries of the future," the businessman believes.
