There are casualties.
Nearly twenty people were injured when a plane caught fire on a runway at Palma airport on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
It was reported by EFE.
The fire occurred around 00:30 on Saturday on a plane of carrier Ryanair that was on the runway of Son San Juan airport.

After receiving the call, four ambulances rushed to the scene.
A total of 18 people were injured in the incident, most with minor injuries. Six required hospitalization at Palma hospitals.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
