"The position of the Russian forces in the Sumy direction has become worse, in some areas the advanced units of the AFU have advanced to tactical depth and bypassed some enemy positions from the flanks," he informed.

A morning report from the AFU General Staff said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 23 Russian attacks in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 10 air strikes, dropped a total of 28 guided aerial bombs and fired 312 artillery shells, including 10 from multiple rocket launchers.

The Ukrainian State Security Service reported that the Russian Armed Forces are fighting using the tactic of small assault groups on the border of Sumy region. But this tactic does not allow the enemy to achieve its goals - to penetrate deep into Ukraine and seize border territories.

According to the representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko, such tactics are used only on the section between Yunakivska and Khotyn communities. However, it does not produce the expected results for the occupiers. They cannot move further into Ukrainian territory or seize border areas.
