Satellite images of the Russian military plant Kupol in Izhevsk have appeared online. After the enterprise was "visited" by two An-196 "Lyuty", it stopped work.

The plant produced Tor-M2 and Osa-AKM SAMs, as well as onboard equipment for missiles, UAVs and electronics for the needs of the occupying army of the Russian Federation. A snapshot of the plant after the strike was published in the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

"Izhevsk, "AO Kupol", the aftermath of the strike on the plant by two AN-196 "Lyuty". Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol specialized in the production of Tor-M2, Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile systems, on-board equipment for missiles, training systems and UAVs, as well as a large number of other electronics for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces," the commentary to the satellite image stated."

Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Kupol plant in Izhevsk on July 1. According to Russian sources, the attack damaged four workshops related to the production of drones, specifically shops for metalworking, soldering microchips and producing finished UAVs. Some shops at the plant were operating around the clock.

After two An-196 Lyutii flew into the plant, one of which, the Russians complained, "flew into the window of shop 106, the other hit the roof of shop 110 and exploded, causing a fire and destruction of the roof on an area of 1,300 square meters," the plant halted operations. m", the enterprise stopped operations.

To make "corrections" in the work of the enterprise, which the Russians themselves call strategically important, Ukrainian UAVs flew more than 1,000 km.
