Former director of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant Vladimir Troitsky died in the war in Ukraine. According to the "I Want to Live" project, Troitsky signed a contract with the Russian Army on September 1, 2023, and already died in the war on November 5, writes the "Vitebsk, I'm walking!" telegram channel.

The story of Vladimir Troitsky received wide publicity in 2018 - then the former director of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant (OARZ), who held this position in 2007-2015, was sentenced to four years in a reinforced regime colony with confiscation of property. He was accused of abuse of office and causing damage during construction work at the airfield.

Troitsky himself claimed that he was the victim of an "order" from Motor Sich CEO Vyacheslav Boguslaev - in those years, the Ukrainian company bought 60% of OARZ shares and planned to invest in the enterprise, but the deal soon stalled.

Interestingly, Boguslaev himself was arrested by the SBU in 2022 on charges of collaborationism, stripped of all state awards and placed under international sanctions.

After the criminal case, Troitsky was removed from his post. In Orsha, he found himself isolated, according to him, he became an outcast. Nevertheless, in 2016 he was briefly appointed director of the Orsha tool factory. And already in February 2018, the court handed down a sentence.

On January 31, 2023, Troitsky was listed as the director of the Vityba branch of the state enterprise IK 12-VAL. Probably, he served his sentence in IK-3, and after his release he was employed at the production.

It is curious that in the summer of 2024 the Vitebsk detachment of the SIG was searching for his relatives. Perhaps, all this time Troitsky's body remained unburied.
