Merz On Russia's War Against Ukraine: Diplomacy Exhausted

Kiev can continue to count on Germany's help in the future.

Following Russia's powerful overnight attack on civilian targets in Ukraine, Germany said diplomatic means against Moscow have been exhausted and Kiev can continue to rely on aid.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said this, according to T-online.

Merz pledged to continue further German aid to Ukraine.

At the same time, during a budget debate in the Bundestag, he criticized Russia for launching serious attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine overnight.

"Diplomatic means have been exhausted," the chancellor stressed.
