On the night of July 9, Russia set a new record for night attacks on Ukraine: the Ukrainian air force counted 7 X-101 or Iskander-K cruise missiles, 6 X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and 728 kamikaze drones and their imitators. According to the Ukrainian project "Rinda Monitorit", at least four Russian drones flew into the airspace of Belarus, reports "Belsat".
The first one was reported at 4:26, flying from the village of Repka in Chernihiv region. About the second - at 5:28, flew from the side of Olevsk in Zhytomyr region. About the third - at 5:44, he flew from the village of Poznan in the Rivne region. About the fourth - at 4:57, flew to Luninets. The last report noted: a fighter plane was flying on the territory of Belarus - probably to intercept the drone. No casualties were reported.
Missiles could also fly into Belarus: from Bryansk region of Russia at least four missiles were launched at Lutsk, they could fly over Bragin, Khoiniki or Narovlya.
The bulk of drones and missiles that night flew to Lutsk, launched from the entire front line and from the entire Russian-Ukrainian border. It is not known where the Russian forces were aiming, but it seems that they did not reach their targets: there was some damage and fires, but there was no mass destruction or casualties, one person died from shrapnel of the "shahed".
According to the head of communications of the Air Force of the AFU Yuri Ignat, the main strike was aimed at the airfield in Volyn. It is possible that Russia is simply trying to overload Ukraine's air defense or sending some kind of signal to the US president, who was outraged by the Russian head's remarks.
There were even more drones flying into Belarus last night: at least 12. as Gomelsky's Flagstaff noted, only 17 drones flew into Belarus during the entire month of June. No casualties were reported. In the afternoon of June 3, a Russian drone fell near the village of Ratmirovichi, which is on the border of Oktyabrski and Gluski districts of Homel Region, then, too, it seems, without casualties.
