TVN: Poland Has Imposed Sanctions Against Oleksandr Moszenski

Lukashenko's wallet has been blacklisted.

Poland's national sanctions list includes Alexander Moshenski, a Belarusian oligarch from Alexander Lukashenko's inner circle, TVN reported.

Moshenski is banned from having accounts in Poland, doing business, participating in government tenders, and his presence in the country is undesirable.

About his business connections and luxurious life in Poland in a report "Lukashenko's Man in Warsaw", journalist Bertold Kittel reported.

"The Belarusian oligarch travels freely between Poland and Belarus. He rents an apartment in Warsaw and runs his business here," the report said.

Moshenski owns a Mercedes with red consular special license plates. In the second half of the week, his driver brings him from Belarus to Warsaw for the weekend.

Moshenski owns large fish processing and dairy plants. He is described as an oligarch loyal to Lukashenko and the dictator's "wallet." However, he has avoided European sanctions since 2020, despite being included in draft sanctions lists several times.

In 2022, he was also excluded from the EU's sixth package of sanctions thanks to Hungary's lobbying. According to journalists, this may be due to the fact that his closest associate, Sergei Nedbaylov, is Hungary's honorary consul in Brest.
